Have you noticed that in almost all of my outfit photos I have the same hairstyle? If my hair isn’t in braids or a ponytail, it’s most likely in the same exact style every single day. It’s super quick and you can do it with just a ponytail holder and a brush if needed. The braid in it is super cute and even though it’s so effortless, it looks so good! Read on for instructions on how to create this braided crossover look!
One // First, brush you hair and divide it down the center in an even part.
Two // Now, take a small section of hair from each side of your head. Try to take just the top layer of hair, and cross them over in the back.
Three // After you have your two sections of hair in the back, gather them into one hand and separate it into the sections. They don’t have to be perfectly even, just three sections to get ready to braid.
Four // With those three sections, loosely braid down your head until you get to the bottom. Tie with a ponytail holder.
Five // You’re almost done! Gently loosen the braid from the back and try to make sure it’s not too tight around the top of your head. It’s the simple, loose look that makes this braid so cute!
